Now however I cannot get any Java3D applets to work in the browser, strangely they do however work using the appletviewer and I cannot find out why. I have had some problems upgrading to the latest version of Java, previous to this I was using JDK 6 on Windows 7 and everything worked fine.

Java 7 update 45 problems install#
Seems like a manual install is the way to go? I remember this is not the first time this has happened to me, Scratching my head again!!! So update 45 did install but the Java control panel app properties did not show it as being updated.
Java 7 update 45 problems 32 bit#
I now go to Control panel and look at installed programs and it lists Java update 45 32 bit and Java update 25 64 bit.
Java 7 update 45 problems 64 Bit#
I scratch my head!!! as update 25 64 bit got installed. When done i go to the java control panel app and it now show i have Java update 40 32 bit and Java update 25 64 bit. So i go to control panel java app and it states i have Java update 40 installed and i select update from the java app there, it then calls up the java installer and Java is being installed. So I right click the Java update icon in the task-bar and select install again and again it seems nothing is happening. Still nothing is happening, So i right click it again and select proprieties and it says i still have the java update 40 installed. It seems like nothing is happening so i do it again. I right click the Java update icon in the task-bar and select install. The auto update tells me there is an java update to install on a PC reboot. The reason i ask is i am so sick of this Java program and it don't seem to work very well in the auto update area or reporting what version is installed.įirst i have Win8 64bit OS and the Java 32 bit version installed as that is the browser i am using 32 bit. Just a question for everyone, how do you update Java, Auto update or Manually.
